A cookie is a small browser record that can accompany requests. Local storage keeps information in the browser without making it a cookie. This notice uses “storage” to cover both, because the decision should depend on what a record does, not which browser mechanism holds it.

Strictly necessary and requested functions

The consent record remembers your decision, including a decline. Chat continuity keeps a token so a conversation you start can be connected when you return.
