Working method / HEALDTON / OK

The connection defines the metalwork.

Brady Welding handles practical welding and metal fabrication in HEALDTON, OK: useful brackets and frames, reinforcement, small repairs and assembly at the installation.

The piece has a job to do. It may have to meet an existing hole pattern or pass through an opening before it can be fitted. That is where the discussion starts, not with a decorative finish or a guessed size.

Price depends on the material and the work needed to fit it. Layout and drilling affect a new bracket; preparation and access affect a repair. The inquiry establishes what needs assessing before a scope and price can be agreed. It is not an instant quote.

Steel plate, angle and square tube are useful starting points for a discussion. A material grade or required tolerance must be specified for the actual work.

01 The operator

A direct contact for practical metal.

This site is operated by Bradywelding, trading at bradywelding.us. Brady Welding is the public service name for the welding and metal fabrication business based in HEALDTON, OK, United States.

The work described here is fabrication and repair by inquiry. This is not a welding equipment shop or a catalogue of decorative metal goods. A bracket is discussed by what it connects to; a support is discussed by its intended use and the design information that comes with it.

The full postal contact address is 788 P O BOX, HEALDTON, OK 73438, HEALDTON, OK, United States. It is a correspondence address, not an invitation to arrive at a walk-in workshop. Arrange access to the work directly.

Before fabrication / layout

Measure from a shared reference.

Send the hole spacing, not just the outside dimensions. Two plates can have the same outline and still fail to line up. A useful sketch identifies the face you are looking at and the edge from which a measurement starts. Mark hole centers separately from the size of the holes.

Keep the units visible. Write inches or millimeters alongside the sketch rather than making the reader infer them from a tape in a photograph. If one measurement is approximate, label it as approximate. An unmarked estimate can become the wrong reference for every hole that follows.

A required tolerance is an input, not something this website assigns. Explain which dimension controls the fit and whether there is any room for adjustment. Access behind a plate matters too: a correctly positioned hole is no use if a fastener cannot be placed or tightened.

Layout information and the decision it supports
DescribeWhy it changes the work
Hole centers and edge distancesLocates the pattern against a fixed reference, instead of relying on the outside shape alone.
Mating face and orientationShows which face bears against the installation and which direction the part has to face.
Clearance for fastenersEstablishes whether there is room for installation tools and access behind the joint.
Required toleranceSeparates a rough envelope from a fit-critical measurement that must be agreed before making the part.

Before assembly / route into place

Check the opening, not only the frame.

For a square-tube frame, show the opening it has to pass through. The finished location may have ample room while the route to it does not. A doorway, a turn or an existing piece of equipment can decide whether the frame can arrive assembled or needs a different fitting sequence.

Square tube frame fabrication starts with overall geometry, but the outside dimensions do not describe the whole job. Note the section dimensions if known and say what the frame will support. Identify any design drawing that governs the work. A description of the intended load helps the discussion; it does not establish an approved load rating.

For on-site assembly, show what remains in place and what can move. Include the side from which the connection is accessible. Do not assume the whole perimeter of a joint is reachable because the front face is visible in a photo.

Cost follows the fitting sequence

Frame scope depends on section material and overall dimensions, with joint count, fitting and finish requirements affecting the price. On-site fitting adds its own access and assembly questions. Timing is discussed once those constraints are understood.

Before repair / remaining metal

A patch does not tell you what is left underneath.

Metal repair in HEALDTON needs more than a close photograph of the crack. Show the surrounding section as well. Corrosion beside an old weld may leave too little sound metal for the repair being proposed. Covering the area with a plate does not establish that the underlying connection can carry its intended load.

Describe any movement you noticed and whether the damage is new or has returned after earlier work. Do not remove a loaded support or disturb a suspect connection just to improve a photograph. Information that cannot be gathered safely needs to wait for an appropriate assessment.

Steel reinforcement repair is not priced by a standard patch size here. Preparation and removal of damaged material may expose conditions that were not visible at the inquiry stage. That can change the scope. Work that depends on a structural design decision cannot be cleared by a website message.

Reinforcement and small repair scope

Clear limits

Fabrication is not design approval.

This service suits useful metalwork with a defined purpose and a scope that can be assessed. It is not a route to structural approval, emergency attendance or an online guarantee that an existing installation is safe.

Where a part carries load or affects safety, an appropriate design decision is needed outside the website inquiry. Send the supplied drawing and its requirements rather than asking a fabricator to infer capacity from the size of the steel. No load rating or standard tolerance is offered by this page.

Finish also belongs in the agreed scope. Say whether a mating face must remain clear and describe the conditions the part will face. Do not treat an example photograph as a promise of a coating system or a particular material grade.
